- Do not operate the rammer in enclosed spaces without adequate ventilation due to exhaust fumes.
- Inspect the rammer for damage or loose parts before each use.
- Never refuel the rammer while the engine is running or hot.

- Locate the fuel tank cap and fill with fresh, clean unleaded gasoline.
- Locate the oil tank cap and fill with the specified 2-stroke engine oil. Do not mix oil with fuel in the fuel tank.
- Wipe away any spilled fuel or oil before starting the engine.

- For best results, compact in layers, typically 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) thick.
