The indicator typically comes with a battery installed. If replacement is needed, refer to the battery compartment cover for instructions on opening and replacing the battery. Ensure correct polarity.
2. Mounting the Indicator
- Securely mount the indicator's stem (8mm diameter) into a suitable measuring stand or fixture. Ensure the mounting is firm to prevent movement during measurement.
- Position the indicator so that the measuring probe is aligned with the workpiece to be measured.
- Adjust the indicator's face by rotating it up to 330 degrees for optimal viewມຸມ ing.
ກົດ ເປີດ/ປິດ button to power on the indicator. The display will show the absolute position from the origin due to the absolute linear encoder.
- Ensure the indicator is properly mounted and powered on.
- Bring the measuring probe into contact with the workpiece. The display will show the measured value.
- For incremental measurements, press the ZERO button at the desired reference point. The display will reset to zero, and subsequent movements will be relative to this point.
- To return to absolute measurement, press the ABS/INC button. The indicator will display the absolute position from its origin.
2. Go/+/-NG Judgment
- Enter the tolerance setting mode (refer to the specific button on your model, often labeled
- Set the upper and lower tolerance limits according to your measurement requirements.
- During measurement, the indicator will display "GO" if the value is within tolerance, or "+NG" / "-NG" if it exceeds the upper or lower limit, respectively.
3. Data Output (SPC)
Connect the indicator to a compatible data processor or computer using the SPC data output port. Refer to the data processor's manual for specific connection and software instructions.
4. Spindle Movement Count Direction
The positive/negative count direction resulting from the spindle's up/down movement can be toggled. Consult the indicator's specific button layout for this function, often labeled DIR
- Wipe the indicator body and spindle with a soft, clean, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, a cloth lightly dampened with neutral detergent may be used, followed by a dry cloth.
- Do not use organic solvents such as thinner or benzene, as they may damage the display or casing.
- Keep the measuring probe clean and free from debris to ensure accurate readings.
- Store the indicator in its protective case when not in use.
- Avoid storing in areas with direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, or excessive dust.
- Ensure the measuring probe is retracted or protected to prevent damage.
ໃນເວລາທີ່ vol ຕ່ໍາtage alarm appears on the display, replace the battery promptly to ensure continued operation and prevent data loss. Refer to the battery compartment for specific battery type and replacement instructions.
