- ເປີດ/ປິດ: ທamp features an automatic on/off switch activated by the shade. To turn the lamp on, fully open the shade. To turn the lamp off, close the shade completely.

The OttLite OTL13TCG Task Lamp uses a 13-watt compact fluorescent bulb (Type E), rated to last up to 10,000 hours. When the bulb needs replacement:

- Gently remove the old bulb by pulling it straight out. Avoid twisting if possible, as the plastic holder can be delicate.
