Vicks VapoRub is a topical cough suppressant and topical analgesic ointment. It is designed to provide temporary relief from cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold, and to relieve minor aches and pains in muscles and joints. Its powerful Vicks vapors, containing menthol, camphor, and eucalyptus oil, work quickly to help you breathe easier and feel more comfortable.

Directions for Use (Operating)

For Cough Suppression (Adults and children 2 years and over):

• Rub a thick layer of VapoRub ointment on your throat and chest.
• If desired, cover the applied area with a warm, dry cloth.
• Keep clothing loose around the throat and chest to allow the Vicks Vapors to reach the nose and mouth effectively.
• Use up to three times daily, or as directed by a doctor.

For Muscle / Joint Minor Aches and Pains:

• Apply to the affected area.
• Do not apply more than three to four times daily.

Children under 2 years: Do not use.
