1. Ensure the park power breaker is in the OFF position.
2. Plug the RV Surge Protector (Model DD232) directly into the park power pedestal without the RV attached.
3. Turn on the park power breaker. The RV Surge Protector will automatically start to analyze the power quality.
4. Once the display shows Energy, Watt, Volt, and Amp readings, it is ready for use.
5. Turn the breaker OFF, plug in your RV's power cord to the surge protector, and then turn the breaker ON.

6. Maintenance: Replaceable Surge Module

A unique feature of the VIPTOO RV Surge Protector (Model DD232) is its replaceable internal surge module. In the event of a significant power surge that compromises the module's protective capabilities, you do not need to replace the entire unit. Simply replace the damaged surge module with a new one (compatible part: DD232M-30A).
