The main unit can be powered by either the included DC power adapter or 2 x AA batteries (not included).
- Insert 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, observing polarity (+/-).
- Alternatively, connect the DC power adapter to the DC 4.5V port on the back of the main unit and plug it into a power outlet.

The wireless outdoor sensor requires 2 x AA batteries (not included).

After powering both units, the weather station will automatically begin searching for the outdoor sensor signal. This process may take up to 3 minutes. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display once connected.
- To speed up the connection, press the TX button inside the outdoor sensor's battery compartment.
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is within the maximum transmission distance of 200 feet (in open areas) from the main unit.

The large LCD screen is divided into several sections:

The weather station predicts weather for the next 8 hours based on atmospheric pressure changes. The icons include:

When powered by the DC adapter, the backlight is continuously on. Press the ແສງ SNOOZE / LIGHT button to cycle through 3 brightness levels: High, Low, Off.
When powered by batteries only, the backlight will illuminate for a few seconds after pressing the ແສງ SNOOZE / LIGHT button and then turn off to conserve power.
